SGE Formal Meeting and Joint Event

On 25 - 26 May 2010, the beautiful city of Seville and CITAndalucia, the local Enterprise Europe Network partner organisation, were host to the members of the Sector Group Environment who held their half-yearly meeting and joint event there. Some thirty members from throughout Europe attended, using the opportunity to intensify their pan-European networking activities, as well as being updated on important environmental issues, such as the EU's waste recycling policies and the Lead Market Initiative. Peter Wolfmeyer, Managing Director of ZENIT GmbH, was re-elected as Chairman, and Sabrina Wodrich, ZENIT Project Manager and Consultant, was elected as Deputy. It makes us proud that the Group has recognised ZENIT's hard work and commitment and placed its trust in ZENIT again. The following day, on the occasion of the annual Setac Conference, Europe's largest environmental toxicology and chemistry event,
enterprises from throughout Europe were brought together by the network partners to discuss co-operation opportunities. The basis for this was a catalogue with over 130 co-operation profiles of network clients which had been compiled prior to the matchmaking event.
